School sports enterprise ‘EduSports’ will expand itself in the next four years, by reaching around 1,000 schools from about 330 schools as informed by a top official of the Edusports Company.
EduSports being mere a 4 year old company works with several schools to present physical education program to the students, incorporated into the school timetable itself.
Saumil Majmudar (EduSports Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer) told,
that EduSports presence is in 80 cities of India, Nepal as well as Middle East. At present, Edusports work with about 330 schools consisting of roughly 2 lakhs students. In the coming four years, EduSports want to accomplish reach to 1,000 schools and touch the mark of 1 million kids. Majumdar informed, EduSports have developed a curriculum designed to include physical education having approximately 400 staff to take physical education classes in the schools.
According to what he stated, the expense of physical education services given by the EduSports Company is around Rs 100 - Rs 150 per student. However, the business is profitable, the biggest challenge is to persuade the head of schools as well as parents and explain the importance of good physical education for their students. He added, even if the school is short of space for physical exercises and activities, the fitness level of kids can still be provided by EduSports, in a limited space.
