GSI is a field based organization. The Ordinary Grade Driver, General Central Service Group 'C' (Non-Ministerial-Non Gazetted) are to perform duties at Headquarters as well as in the field/Remote Areas and accompany the field parties to the earmarked areas in various Regions.

Eligibility Criteria for Ordinary Grade Driver, General Central Service Group 'C' (Non-Ministerial-Non Gazetted) Job
Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
- (i) Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Driving License (DL) for Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV).
- (i) Three years exp.in driving of jeeps, trucks or tractors from recognized organization.
(ii) Experience in repairs and maintenance of vehicles. Age Limit: 56 years as on 06 July 2020.
