Pay Scale

  • For Class-I: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Rs. 5,400 Grade-pay and other allowences
  • For Class-II: Rs. 9,300-34,800 + Rs. 4,600 Grade-pay and other allowences

Eligibility

Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree of any University incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by Government. Provided that a candidate who has appeared at a degree examination, the passing of which would render him educationally qualified for the examination but the result is not declared, shall also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination.

Age Limit: A candidate shall not be less than 20 years of age and not be more than 35 years of age as on 30 June 2014. Upper age limit shall be relaxed as per the govt. norms
