India to host International Junior Science Olympiad in December,2013

Mumbai is all set to host the Junior Science Olympiad next year, 2013. The city is all set to host the event with over three hundred students from fifty countries in December 2013. India will play the host for the 10th International Junior ScienceOlympiads (IJSO) in the chronological order.

Students have already started preparations for the big event . The four-day orientation programme for the Olympiads came to an end at the science city on 29 July 2012.

The orientation was attended by two hundred students who have topped in various districts of the state in class tenth and are now in class twelfth in the science stream.

IJSO is a prestigious world competition held every year for ten days in the natural sciences for fifteen-year-old students from across the globe. Indian students have fared well in all the Olympiads organized so far.
