Indian Oil Corporation Ltd Notified 61 Vacancies with Barauni Refinery

    Barauni Refinery under Refineries Division of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, a Government of India undertaking, issued notification for filling up 61 non-executive posts with its various departments. Interested candidates can send their applications till 31 March 2013.

    Maximum age relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates & for Ex-Servicemen and by 5 years for SC candidates & for candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 1 January 1980 and 31 December 1989,

    Selection Procedure: The selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Written test followed by Personal Interview of short listed candidates. Candidates will have to qualify each stage of selection process successfully for being adjudged suitable for subsequent selection event / final selection.

    Interviews will be held in two phases.

    In the first phase, experienced candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and qualify the written test will be called for the Personal Interview.
    In case the vacancies remain unfilled, then the second phase will be organized. 

    In this phase, inexperienced candidates who have qualified the written test will be called for Personal interview, for the post of Trainees. These candidates, if selected, will be put under specific training for a minimum period of 1 year, and shall be placed on job after assessment of their learning.

    Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the

    Female candidates can only apply for the posts of Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation) and Junior Materials Assistant-IV. However candidates applying for the post of Junior Materials Assistant should be a person with disability (HH) category.

    Stipend & Salary: Trainees will be entitled to a monthly consolidated stipend of Rs.11000 along with other facilities as per rules. On successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed in regular service of the Corporation in relevant posts in Salary grade – IV in the pay scale of Rs.11900 -32000  (+ other benefits like Medical / LTC / Superannuation Benefit Fund etc. as per rules).

    Travel Allowance: “Outstation” SC/ST/PWD candidates called for written test / interview will be reimbursed 2nd Class Railway / Bus fare from the place of residence to the place of interview / test and back by the shortest route subject to providing rail / bus ticket(s).

    Application Fees: Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100 has to be paid through a crossed DD drawn in favour of “Accounts Officer, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Barauni Refinery” payable at Begusarai. The DD may be issued by any Branch other than SBI, BR Campus Branch.

    SC / ST / Ex-servicemen / PWD candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

    How to Apply: Eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed proforma, along with copies of required certificate to “The Employee Relations Manager, Barauni Refinery, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, PO: Barauni Oil Refinery, Distt. Begusarai. Pin Code 851 114” so as to reach the given address on or before 31 March 2013 (1700 hours).

    Name of the post applied for should be super-scribed on the right side of the envelope.

    Applications of candidates applying for more than one post will be rejected.
