    Every year some or the other changes are made to IIT Joint Entrance Exam. This year too, the exam conducting Authority has made new changes in JEE Main and IIT aspirants can expect changes in exam pattern of JEE Advanced as well.

    Among frequently asked question about IIT JEE 2018, the most common question asked is, whether the IIT JEE Mains and JEE Advanced will be subjective for the upcoming exam.   

    Ans. As CBSE has released information brochure for JEE Main 2018, which states clearly that the test paper of JEE Main 2018 paper 1 and paper 2 will be based on objective type questions only except for the questions in Drawing Test of Paper 2, which requires candidates to answer questions in form of drawing only.

    In case of JEE Advanced 2018, the information regarding test scheme is yet to be announced, the exam conducting authority for JEE Advanced i.e. IIT Kanpur has only announced that the question paper of JEE Advanced 2018 will be physics, chemistry and mathematics. Moreover, the JEE Advanced will be completely Computer-based test as compared to JEE Main 2018, which will be conducted in online as well as offline mode.
