Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess Masters or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST applicants) in the concerned subjects recognized by UGC OR PG certificate recognized by AIU/ AITCE/ UGC/SBTE.
External Applicants: Aspirants who have been working for minimum one year in well equipped Educational/Scientific/ R&D/ Industrial /Government/private organizations and engaged in Scientific/Technological/Engineering/ Managerial activities possessing the above mentioned educational qualifications shall be deemed as external, part-time candidates and shall continue to work in their organizations
Internal Applicants: Regular faculty members of the University willing to pursue Ph D while continuing to work and possessing the minimum academic qualifications will be deemed as internal, part-time candidates.
Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be based on the following two parameters:
- Written Test
- Interview
UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE qualified candidates need not to appear in the entrance test. Though, they will have to appear in the interview.
Application Fee and Mode of Payment
The application fee for the programme is Rs 1000 and must be paid through Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, JNAFAU, payable at Hyderabad.
