Maharashtra HSC (Class 12th) Exams 2014 Date Sheet Announced

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced the time-table for Higher Secondary Certificate Examination Class 12th - February-March, 2014 on its official website for the revised syllabus.

As per the official Time-table released the Higher Secondary Certificate theory Examination 2014 will commence from 20 February 2014 (Thursday) and conclude on 26 March 2014 (Wednesday).

The board examination for class 12th will be conducted in two divisions, first half (Morning) and second half (Evening).

Please Be Noted: The examination schedule/timings will vary for each subject examination, for candidates appearing in first half batch. The timings of exam for the candidates appearing in second half will remain same throughout i.e. 3p.m. to 6p.m. Hence the correct timings for each subject exam need to be checked in advanced by the first half batch students by referring the official time-table.

The first exam for First Half batch students of Class 12 will be conducted for the Language subject having options Marathi (02), Gujarati (03), Kannada (06), Sindhi (07), Malayalam (08) ,Tamil (09), Telugu (10), Punjabi (11), Bengali (12)  scheduled to be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 20  February, 2014. Whereas, the first exam for second half batch students will be for the subject Urdu (05), French (13), Pali (35) to be held from 3p.m. to 6p.m.on 20 February 2014.

The last examination for Class 12 for the first half batch students will be for the subject - History & Appreciation of Arts (A) - (Painting, Sculpture & Architecture)  (Code:60) scheduled from  11 a.m. to 2p.m. on 26 March.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune was formed on January 1, 1966 to regulate secondary education related few matters in the state of Maharashtra. The Board changed to its present name - The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in1976 after the act was amended.
The main responsibility of the board is to conduct the SSC and HSC examinations across the state for the schools affiliated to it.
