Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the time table for Secondary School Certificate Examination - Class 10, March 2014 on its official website for the revised course.
As per the official time-table, the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) theory Examination will commence from 3 March 2014 (Monday) and will conclude on 27 March 2014 (Thursday).
The board examination for class 10 will be conducted in two divisions, first half (Morning) and second half (Evening).
Please Be Noted: The examination schedule/timings will vary for each subject examination, for both candidates appearing in first half or second half and hence the correct timings for each subject exam need to be checked in advanced from the official time-table.
The first examination is to be conducted for the subject First Language which is a compulsory subject and have choices as follows: Marathi (code: 01), Hindi (code:02) , Urdu (code:04), Gujarati (code:05), Kannada (code:06), Tamil (code:07), Telugu (code:08), Malayalam (code:09), Sindhi (code:10), Bengali(code:11), Punjabi (code:12) scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2p.m.
Whereas, the first exam for the second half batch will be conducted for the Subject- Second or Third Language: French (code: 35) scheduled from 3p.m. to 6p.m on 3 March 2014.
The Last Exam For Class X students appearing in first half will be for the subject Second or Third Language: Gujarati (code: 19) scheduled from 11a.m. to 2p.m. and Second or Third Language: (Composite Course): Urdu (COMPOSITE) scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Whereas for the Second Half, Class 10 Batch the last exam will be conducted for subject Introduction to Basic Technology Paper – II (V1), Elements of Mechanical Engineering Paper – II (V2) and Elements of Electrical & Electronics Technology Paper – II (V3), scheduled from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on 27 march 2014.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune was formed on January 1, 1966 to regulate secondary education related few matters in the state of Maharashtra. The Board changed to its present name - The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in1976 after the act was amended.
The main task of the board is to conduct the SSC and HSC examinations in the entire state.
