The Maharashtra SSC result 2013 will be declared by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune in the second week of June. The examination was conducted from 2 March 2013 to 25 March 2013 in the following 9 divisions- Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amaravati, Nasik, Latur and Konkan.

The MSBSHSE Board is responsible for conducting High School and Intermediate examinations. It is estimated that approximately 14 lakh students appeared for the Class 10th examination that was conducted in the tenure of 23 days.

The objective of the board was to standardize certain matters pertaining to secondary education in the state of Maharashtra, India. The primary role of the board is to conduct the SSC and HSC examination.
