MHA IB security assistant tier 1 exam: In a bid to recruit the security assistant in the Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) conducted the tier 1 exam on 17th February, 2019. Here are the details of the expected cut off marks and exam analysis for the MHA IB security assistant tier 1 exam.

If you analysis the MHA IB security assistant tier 1 exam held recently, it is  clear that there were 100 marks and candidates were given two hours to answer the paper. Out of the 100 questions in the question paper,  40 questions on general awareness, 20 questions on quantitative aptitude, 20 questions on logical/ analytical ability and 20 questions on English language. Each question carried one mark. There was negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Needless to say, negative marking in any examination means cautions that candidates will have to try only those questions for which they are sure about its answer. Certainly question paper clearly covers all the important parts of the subjects like general awareness, quantitative aptitude, Reasoning and other.
As the exam had been conducted recently now it is expected that concerned department will release the cut off marks and answer key for the MHA IB security assistant tier 1 exam.

It is to be noted that Intelligence Bureau had invited applications for the recruitment to 1054 posts of Security Assistant (Executive) in the Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Government of India. Candidates had applied for the Intelligence Bureau 1054 Security Assistant/Executive Posts in November 2018.

The educational qualification for the posts was10th class passed, so a number of candidates were applied for the posts. MHA's Intelligence Bureau (IB) will select the candidates for 1054 Security Assistant (Executive) posts vacancies through the written examination followed by the Interview / Personality Test. The written examination will consists of two levels, i.e. Tier I, which will be based on Objective type MCQs and Tier II having Descriptive type questions.

According to the media reports, the level of the questions asked in the tier 1 written exam indicates that for General category candidates, cut off marks is expected to be between 75-80, while the cut-off for OBC candidates is expected to be between 65-75.

MHA IB Security Assistant Admit Card 2018-19 Released, Download Admit card

MHA IB Security Assistant Admit Card 2018 Update: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released the MHA IB Security Assistant Exam 2019 and candidates who have to appear in the exam, can download their admit card from the official website. The MHA IB Security Assistant Exam 2019 will be conducted on 17th February, 2019.

  • First of all candidates will have to visit the official link https://www.recruitmentonline.in/mha13
  • Candidates will get a window regarding the admit card for the IB Security Assistant Exam 2018.
  • The can get their admit card after providing their Registration Number and Date of birth.
  • Candidates are advised to download their admit card for Tier-I Examination.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

  • Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education, and
  • Knowledge of any one of the local language

Age Limit:

  • 27 years
