Eligibility Criteria for Associate Professor and other PostJob
Educational Qualification
- Associate Professor – Interpreting –MA in Linguistics/translation studies with at least 55% marks. Doctorate degree in any related field of Linguistic /sign linguistic/interpreting or translation studies.
- Associate Professor – Interpreting (Education)-M.Ed in Special Education with good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55%marks. OR B.Ed. (H.I.) plus Masters in any discipline with good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks. Doctorate Degree in the area of Deaf Education. C Level – Indian Sign Language course or Diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpretation from a recognized Institute.
- Deputy Director (Administration)- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
- Assistant Professor Interpreting –MA Linguistics/translation studies. Four years of teaching /research experience of which at least two years must be interpreting service.
- Senior P.A.-Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Multi Skilled Assistant (Deaf) –Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
- Interpreter-Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University. C level –Indian Sign Language Course or Diploma in Indian Sign language interpretation. Minimum three years experience of interpreting experience in academic instituion.

- Associate Professor, Deputy Director (Administration) – Below 45 Years
- Assistant Professor Interpreting -Below 40 Years
- Senior P.A., Multi Skilled Assistant (Deaf), Interpreter -Below 35 Years
