• It's the required entrance test for all of the Symbiosis MBA colleges across India (like SIBM Pune, SCMHRD, etc.).

• What it Tests: It checks your general skills in three main areas:

1. General English: Vocabulary, grammar, and reading.

2. Analytical & Logical Reasoning: Solving puzzles and logic problems.

3. Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: Math skills (like arithmetic, geometry, etc.).

• Key Feature: The test is typically shorter and easier than other major MBA entrance exams, but it is very fast-paced, meaning you need to solve questions quickly.

• Why it Matters: Your score on the SNAP exam decides if you are eligible to apply for the interview rounds at the Symbiosis MBA institutes. A higher score gives you a better chance at their best colleges.

If you want to get into an MBA program at any college under Symbiosis International University (SIU), you must take the SNAP exam. 

The SNAP exam is a mandatory computer test given at official Test Centres. To finish your application, you must follow these four steps:

1. Sign up for the SNAP Test 

2. Pay the registration fee for the SNAP Test

3. Sign up separately for each specific MBA program (or college) at SIU you want to apply to

4. Pay the application fee for each of those programs

SNAP is different from other major exams (like CAT or XAT) in these simple ways:

1. Speed Test: It is a very short exam (only 60 minutes for 60 questions). The main challenge is solving many questions quickly, not solving complex ones slowly.

2. Multiple Attempts: You can take the exam up to three times, and only your best score is counted for admission. This reduces the pressure of one bad day.

3. Specific Focus: It is the only entrance exam for all Symbiosis MBA colleges.

4. Easier Questions (Generally): The questions are generally considered to be of a moderate difficulty level, focusing more on foundational concepts, grammar, and quick reasoning.

SNAP Dates 2025 

The SNAP Test for 2025 is scheduled for three separate dates.

SNAP Registration Process

1. Go to www.snaptest.org and click on ‘Apply Now’ and then 'Register'.

2. Check all the information, then click 'Continue' to proceed.

3. Fill out the form on the page.

4. Save the form, and a confirmation code will be sent to your contact details.

5. Enter the code (OTP) and submit.

6. Upon successful registration, an email and SMS containing the SNAP ID and password will be delivered. This SNAP ID must be used for all communications regarding the SNAP 2025 entrance test and admission procedure.

7. Payment of the SNAP entrance test registration fee (INR 2250 per test) is required as per the portal's instructions. This fee is non-transferable and non-refundable, and applicable government taxes will be added.

8. For every specific course you want to apply for, an additional ₹1000 fee is required. Like the test fee, this payment is final and non-refundable.

9. Paying only the SNAP test fee will not let you apply to any course. To be eligible for a program, both the test fee and the programme fee must be paid. If the programme fee is not paid, your application for that course will be instantly rejected.

10. For any questions, log in to your SNAP account, click "Raise A Query," and start a support ticket. You must start a ticket for your question to be answered.

11. You can pay the programme fee using the same methods as the SNAP test fee.

12. Throughout the admission process, the continuous use of one valid and unique email and phone number is mandatory.

13. Accurate credential details must be entered into the online registration form.

14. Online registration must be completed by Thursday, November 20, 2025. No changes to the registration will be allowed after this date.

15. Appearance for SNAP is permitted on all dates: Saturday, December 06; Sunday, December 14; and Saturday, December 20, 2025. If multiple tests are taken, the highest score achieved will be used for the final percentile calculation.

16. If any provided information is found to be incorrect, the University reserves the right to cancel the application.

Basic Eligibility: A bachelor's degree from a recognized University or Institute of National Importance is required. The degree must have a minimum score of 50% (or an equivalent grade). For the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes categories, the minimum score is 45%.
