Factors Determining MPSC Cutoff 2025
There are several factors that play a significant role in determining the MPSC Prelims Cutoff 2025. Below we have listed some of the factors.
Difficulty Level of the Exam: If the prelims exam is highly challenging, the cutoff marks may be lower. Conversely, an easier paper could result in a higher cutoff.
Number of Vacancies: The cutoff marks are directly affected by the number of available vacancies. More vacancies often lead to a lower cutoff, while fewer vacancies may increase the cutoff.
Number of Candidates Appearing: A higher number of candidates can intensify competition, potentially raising the cutoff marks.
Previous Year Cutoff Trends: The MPSC considers cutoff trends from previous years when setting the current year's cutoff.
Reservation Policies: The Maharashtra government's reservation policies result in varying cutoff marks for different categories (UR, OBC, SC, ST).
