The National Institute of Technology, Puducherry is one of the most prestigious engineering colleges in South India. In this aricle, we have compiled the previous years' opening and closing rank of NIT Puducherry for the core engineering branches.

The National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are the top engineering institutes in India. They are declared to be ‘institutes of national importance’ by an Act of Parliament. There are a total of 31 NITs across the country. Students will have to secure a descent rank in JEE Main exam, if they are willing to take admission in these prominent colleges. JEE Main is considered to be one of the toughest entrance exams for engineering courses in India. Every year, lakhs of students appear for JEE Main, but only few candidates get seat into NITs due to less number of seats. Students must check the previous years’ opening and closing rank of different NITs in order to know about the least and highest rank required to get admission into their preferred institutes. About NIT Puducherry:

National Institute of Technology, Puducherry is also popularly called NIT- Puducherry or simply NIT-P. This NIT also holds prominence and is regarded as the Institute of country-wide importance, just like its peers. Established in the year 2010, the NIT, Puducherry is among the latest ones to be established. The stature of national importance is imparted to this institute. This is perhaps, one of the newest NITs in India. NIT, Puducherry is a renowned name in the engineering colleges list. It also has collaboration with some of the renowned international universities.
