National level entrance exam: MU OET:
Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) is conducted by Manipal University for the admission in the four year undergraduate programmes of Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT). Manipal University is a deemed university. It is located in Manipal, Karnataka, India. It has over 28,000 students from 52 countries. The university has branch campuses in Bangalore, Mangalore, Sikkim, Jaipur, Dubai, Malaysia and Antigua. It is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or A Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
- Candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with optional subjects being Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology.
MU OET Paper Pattern:
Manipal University conducts an online test of 2 and 1/2 hours duration. The total no of questions in the test is 200, which are distributed as follows:
- Physics- 50 questions
- Chemistry- 50 questions
- Mathematics- 70 questions
- English & General Aptitude- 30 questions
How to apply:
Candidates will need to register on the official website of the Manipal University. After registration and fee payment, candidates need to book the test schedule at the centre, date and time of their choice using the Online Test booking system (a web based online scheduling system) which is available at the admission portal of the Manipal University.
