NIPHM Hyderabad Recruitment 2016 for Senior Consultant and Other Posts

National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM), Hyderabad invited application from eligible candidates to appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the posts of Senior Consultant and other posts for various projects. Few posts are purely on Contractual Basis for specific period of time and co- terminus with the project and other on Direct/ Deputation Basis. The eligible candidates may appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the respective posts on 28 December 2016 (Wednesday) at 09:00 AM onwards and for Assistant Director posts must apply on or before 30 December 2016 up to 05:30 PM.

1. Senior Consultant (Entomology/ Pathology) - 01 Post.
2. Senior Consultant (Soil Science/ Agronomy) – 01 Post.
3. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 01 Post.
4. Assistant Director (Pest Surveillance) – 01 Post.  [Direct]
5. Assistant Director (PHM – Horticulture & Floriculture) – 01 Post.  [Direct/ Deputation]

Eligibility Criteria for NIPHM Senior Consultant and Other Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

1. Senior Consultant: Possess Post- Graduate Degree in the respective discipline.
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Possess Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in the appropriate discipline.
3. Assistant Director: Possess Master’s Degree or PG Degree in the respective discipline.

Deputation Basis:

Officers working under the Central/ State Govt. or Universities or Research Institutes or PSUs or Autonomous Bodies etc.:

• Holding the analogous posts or equivalent on Regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
• With 03 (three) years of relevant experience of the regular service in the immediate lower pay scale or equivalent;   or
• With 05 (five) years of relevant experience of the regular service in the next lower pay scale or equivalent;   and
• Possess Master’s Degree or Post- Graduate Degree in the respective discipline.

Experience Required:

• Senior Consultant: 25 years.
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): as applicable.
• Assistant Director (Pest Surveillance): 04 years.
• Assistant Director (PHM – Horticulture & Floriculture): 05 years.

Age Limit:

Gen: as on 01 December 2016.

Senior Consultant: Not exceeding 65 years.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF): 35 years for Men & 40 years for Women.

Assistant Director: Not exceeding 45 years as on last date of receipt of application.

OBC: Relaxation of 03 years.

SC/ ST: Relaxation of 05 years.

PWD & Others: As per norms.

Selection Procedure for NIPHM Senior Consultant and Other Jobs:

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Walk –in- Interview/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
