Office of the Chief Registrar of Births and Deaths, Odisha Notified Recruitment for 33 vacancies

Office of the Chief Registrar of Births and Deaths and Office of the District/Additional District Registrar of Births and Deaths located at each District Head quarters invited application for recruitment to 33 posts of State Coordinator (1 post) and Data Processing Assistants (32 posts) on contract basis for a period of one year. Salary

For State Coordinator: Rs. 20000 per month+TA/DA (when on tour)
For Data Processing Assistants: Rs. 15000 per month +TA/DA (when on tour)

Eligibility Criterion

Age limit: (as on 1 October 2013)
For State Coordinator: between 21 years and 30 years
For Data Processing Assistants: between 20 years and 30 years

Qualifications

For State Coordinator: PG with Statistics/Bio-Statistics/Health Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Commerce/Computer Science/IT/Social Science/Sociology OR Graduate in any branch of Engineering. Good command over Hindi, English & local language with basic knowledge of Computer and 2 years experience in surveys and statistical analysis.
For Data Processing Assistants: Graduate with Diploma/Certificates in Computers/IT. Good command over Hindi, English & local language with basic knowledge of Computer and one year experience in data collection, compilation and data entry etc.  

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.

Selected candidates will be informed either through post or vis e-mail/telephone. The list of selected candidates will be also displayed on  the official website and notice board.

How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with attested copies of required certificates /mark sheets and a self- addressed duly stamped envelope to ‘The Mission Directorate (NHM), Annex Building of SIH&FW, Nayapalli, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar-751012, District-Khurda (Odisha)’ through Regd. Post/Speed Post/Courier so as to reach the concerned authority by 10 December 2013 (1700 hours).

On the envelope containing the application, candidates should super-scribe ‘Name of the post applied for’.

Candidates should mention 8 preferences of districts for posting.
