Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Chennai on 27 April 2013 announced final result for Assistant Loco Pilot. The written examination for the same was held 15 July 2012 and 26 August 2012, aptitude test was held from 28 January 2013 to 31 January 2013 and counselling/ verification of certificates for selected candidates was done from 7 March 2013 to 15 March 2013.

Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB) was set up in 1998 in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) with the objective of information of policy in regards to recruitment of all Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs), evaluate the performance of RRB’s and organise management information system.
