The unending wait for SSC CGL TIER I Result 2016 is over! Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the result of CGL Exam 2016 TIER I. Candidates can check the result via official pdf available only at jagranjosh.com.
The SSC CGL TIER I Exam 2016 (Computer Based Mode) was held from 27 August 2016 to 11 September 2016 to fill up tentative 4874 posts in Staff Selection Commission. Out of 38.04 lakh registered candidates, approximately 14.82 lakh candidates in 44 Batches appeared in 96 Cities across the country.
On the basis of CGL (Tier I) Examination 2016, number of candidates provisionally qualified for different papers of Tier-II are: Paper-I and II : 1,49,319 (Total candidates), Paper-III: 28,234 (Only for posts of Junior Statistical Officer (Grade-II)/Compiler) and Paper-IV: 45,293 (Only for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer in CAG)
The TIER II examination is scheduled to be conducted from 30 November 2016 to 02 December 2016 (tentatively). Overall selection procedure for SSC CGL 2016 includes Written Examination, Data Entry Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test and Document Verification.
