SSC CHSL Syllabus 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the latest syllabus and exam pattern for the Combined Higher Secondary Level or CHSL (10+2) Level Examination 2026 along with the official notification. This year a total of 2536 vacancies are available across various posts such as Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO) and DEO Grade A. SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2026

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 examination consists of objective type multiple choice questions. It has 100 questions for a total of 200 marks. Candidates get 60 minutes to complete the examination with a sectional timing of 15 minutes for each subject. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer. SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2026

The SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day. Session 1 includes Sections I, II and III while Session 2 consists of Section IV which is the Skill Test/Typing Test. Candidates must qualify in all sections of Tier 2.

Section 1 and 2 each have a duration of one hour while the Computer Knowledge Test will be conducted for 15 minutes. Section 4 will include the Skill Test or Typing Test
