An aspirant should first divide their Examination time period according to different sections like Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language etc.
The examinee, if confident about Quantitative Aptitude segment must attempt this segment first.
In the Quantitative Aptitude section first try to attempt simple questions of which you are sure of.  Choose the questions, based on simplification method, Averages, percentages, Number System, HCF and LCM of numbers.

Let us suppose you are asked to find a number which when increased by 10% becomes 1.1 times of itself
          
Suppose the value of X increased by 10%

When any value decreased by 10 percent, it becomes 0.9 times of itself

Suppose the value of X decreased by 10%

 X - 10% of X
 X - 10/100×X
 X - 0.1×X
 (1-0.1) ×X
 (0.9)X

Candidates are first asked to read the units of time speed and distance carefully while attempting the questions from Time and Distance Segment.
If the distance is given in km and the speed is in m/s then always convert the units. According to the demand of the question you can change the kilometer in to meter or m/s in to km /hr. For example-
             S km/hr =(s×5/18) m/sec
             S m/sec =(s×18/5) km/hr
 

Always try to remember squares or cubes or the values of some powers of some numbers.
Always mark the questions on the Question booklet on which you are confident but they are time lengthy one. Try to attempt these questions in the last fifteen minutes of the examinations.
