Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted exam for Combined Recruitment for the post of Programme Executive and Transmission Executive in Prasar Bharati on 02 June 2013 in two shifts –morning and afternoon. This combined recruitment exam consisted of two papers – Paper I and Paper II in objective and descriptive modes, respectively.
The Paper I contained 200 Multiple Choice Questions in all comprising the following three distinctive sections:
• General Intelligence and reasoning – 50 Questions
• General English – 50 Questions
• General Awareness – 100 Questions
Each question carries equal marks.
The Paper II in descriptive mode consisted of Section A-W in different languages/dialects for which aspirants were expected to write answers in Part-A and Part-B. To write answer in Part-A, candidates had two language options – English or Hindi. And for Part-B, there were multiple language options such as English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujrati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
