Eligibility Criteria for Scientific Assistant and Other Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Research Investigator (Forestry) : Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operations Research or Forestry or Economics (with Statistics) or Commerce (with Statistics) or Mathematics (with Statistics) or Agriculture (with Statistics) or two years’ Post-Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management from a recognized Institute/University with One year’s experience in collection or compilation or analysis of data including data in Agriculture or forestry work.
Senior Scientific Assistant: Master’s Degree in Bacteriology or Microbiology or Biochemistry or Pharmacy or Physiology or Chemistry of a recognized University or equivalent.
Senior Radio Technician: Degree in Electronics or Electrical Communication Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Communication or Radio Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent with 3 years’ experience in installation /maintenance of Electrical/Wireless equipment such as Wireless Transmitters, Receivers and Aerial Systems.
Heraldic Assistant: Master’s Degree in History from a recognised University or equivalent with OR Master’s Degree in Sanskrit from a recognised University or equivalent.
Farm Manager: Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or Institute.
Scientific Assistant (Mechanical): Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University.
Scientific Assistant (Electrical): Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University.
Scientific Assistant (NDT): Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University.
Scientific Assistant (Chemical): Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University.
Handicrafts Promotion Officer: Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Microbiology from a recognized University.
Deputy Ranger: Bachelor’s Degree in Design or Fine Arts (Fashion or Textile or Apparel Production) of four years’ duration from a recognized University or Institute with one year experience in field of handicrafts or cottage or small scale industry.
Junior Engineer (Quality Assurance): 12Th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with Two years’ experience in forest survey or working plan organization or forest resources survey work in State Forest Department.
Selection Process for Scientific Assistant and Other Posts
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination and Interview.
