TNPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2024: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications for Combined Civil Services Examination - Group I-B and I-C Services posts on its official website. Under the recruitment drive, the Commission is set to recruit for various posts including Assistant Commissioner and District Educational Officer in various departments across the state. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts on or before May 22, 2024.
Selection for these posts will be done on the basis of prelims/mains exam followed by interview. Prelims exam will be conducted on July 12, 2024 across the state.

What is the TNPSC Group 1 2024 Eligibility and Age Limit?
To apply for these positions, candidates should possess the required educational qualification and other eligibility parameters as given in notification. You are advised to check the detailed eligibility criteria given below.
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Commissioner: (i)Candidates must possess any degree and also a degree of Bachelor of Law (3 years course) or a degree of Bachelor of Law (5 years Integrated course) of a University recognised by the University Grants Commission for purpose of its Grant, and
(ii) (a) Must be actually practicing as an Advocate or as a Pleader in a Court of Civil or Criminal Jurisdiction for a period of not less than three years. or
(b) Must have put in a service of not less than six years in the post of Executive Officer, Grade-I or Grade-II or Grade-III or Grade-IV, or Inspector or Head Clerk or Manager or Superintendent in the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department.
