UGC NET Exam Date 2024: The National Testing Agency is expected to issue UGC NET 2024 admit card anytime soon on its official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Once available, candidates can download their admit cards using their application number and date of birth. The UGC NET re-examination for the June 2024 cycle is scheduled to take place from August 21 to September 4. Earlier, the exam was held on June 18, but was cancelled due to a paper leak incident.
This year, a total of 11,21,225 candidates have applied for the exam, surpassing last year's numbers. For comparison, 9,45,872 candidates registered for the December 2023 exam, with 9,08,580 appearing for the June 2024 exam, reflecting an overall attendance rate of approximately 81 per cent.

UGC NET Exam Date 2024
UGC NET is a national-level exam conducted to assess candidates' eligibility for Assistant Professorships, Junior Research Fellowships, or both, at Indian universities and colleges. It is held twice a year, in June and December. The UGC NET 2024 exam for the June cycle will take place from August 21 to September 4 in two shifts. It will be conducted online.
According to the official notification issued by NTA, “The UGC NET June 2024 Cycle examination was earlier held in Pen & paper (offline) mode. However, it will now be held in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode”.
Candidates who score above the UGC NET cut off marks will get the UGC NET certificate.

UGC NET Exam Schedule 2024 Shift-wise
