The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 for the June session. Candidates can visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in to check the complete exam and city slip schedule.
The officials have informed that the UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted on June 18 in two shifts across 541 centers pan India. Successfully registered candidates can appear for the exam at their allotted centers, carrying their hall tickets and ID proofs. The UGC NET June 2024 city slip will be issued 10 days prior to the exam. Aspirants can download their UGC NET exam city slip 2024 on June 8 either from the official website of UGC NET or NTA, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, or nta.ac.in. The admit card will be released after the city intimation slip.
UGC NET June 2024 Schedule
In the latest notification, it has been announced that the UGC NET June 2024 exam is scheduled to take place on June 18. The examination will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm for 42 subjects, while the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm for 41 subjects.
“The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC – NET June 2024 for (i) ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and (iii) ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in 83 subjects in OMR (Pen and Paper), mode on 18th June 2024”, the notification reads.

The NTA conducts this exam for 83 UGC NET subjects. The exam for 42 subjects will be held in the first shift, while the exam for the remaining 41 subjects will be conducted in the evening shift.

UGC NET June 2024: How to Download the City Intimation Slip
- Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the "Advance Exam City Intimation" link displayed on the homepage.
- You will be redirected to a new window where you will be required to enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security PIN.
- After entering the required details, click on the "Submit" button.
- Your UGC NET City Intimation Slip will then be displayed on the screen.
- Download it for future reference.
