University of Delhi Notified Recruitment for 2 Project Fellows in Department of Anthropology

University of Delhi invited applications from candidates for recruitment of two Project Fellows under UGC Special Assistance Programme for a period of five years. The position is purely Temporary and Co-Terminus with the duration of the period. Interested candidates send their application form duly filled in the prescribed format before 15 October, 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have a minimum of second class (55% Marks, 50% in case of SC/ST/PH) at Master’s Degree in Anthropology or M.Phil. in the subject concerned or related subject. The candidate appointed as Project Fellows may be enrolled for Ph.D. degree if NET qualified. For further terms and conditions candidates can refer to the rules available on UGC website.

Age Limit (at the time of application)

Not more than 40 years

Pay Scale

Rs. 14,000/- per month for initial 2 years and Rs.16,000/- per month from the 3^rd year onwards plus HRA as per University norms (as per new UGC guidelines).

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview. The applications will be scrutinized on the basis of qualifications, experience and suitability of the candidates in the programme. Only selected candidates from the initial screening will be called for interview via email.
