UPSEE 2016: Application Form

    UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) is a state level entrance exam for admission to different undergraduate and post graduate programmes in field of engineering and technology. Conducted by UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University), the UPSEE is the main entrance test for technical professional programmes like B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Arch, BHMCT, MBA and MCA.

    UPSEE 2016 Application Procedure

    Like every year, UPTU will declare the forms for UPSEE 2016 in the month of Feb 2016. Candidates are expected to complete the UPSEE Application form filling process by April 2016. UPSEE is one of the biggest engineering entrance exams of the year and therefore has very tough competition. Every year many UPSEE aspirants face problems during application phase, leading to rejection of their application form by UPTU due to silly mistakes. To avoid any such mistakes and avoid any confusion, we have explained the entire UPSEEE application form and filling procedure below.

    Application Modes

    UPSEE application forms can be filled by candidates either in online mode or offline mode, depending upon their choice and convenience.

    UPSEE Online Application Form

    UPSEE Online Application Form has to be filled on the official website as given in the notification. Students are requested to understand the entire process with help of application help guide given on the website. In addition to this, UPTU will also setup facilitation centres in different cities to aid students during the application process. The UPSEE online application process consists of four main steps as given below:

    • Filling up of personal and academic details
    • Payment of Application Fee
    • Uploading of Documents
    • Printing of Confirmation Page

    Documents required for UPSEE Online application

    Candidates will require the following document to complete the UPSEE online application process:

    • Personal Email ID
    • Personal Mobile Number
    • Credit/Debit card for online payment of fees
    • Scanned Copy of coloured passport size photograph (3.5cm x 4.5cm) in JPEG format with maximum size of 20Kb; name of candidate must also printed on the photograph
    • Scanned copy of signature (3.5cm x 1.5cm) in JPEG format with maximum size of 10Kb
    • Scanned copy of thumb impression(3.5cm x 1.5cm) in JPEG format with maximum size of 10Kb

    Steps to fill the UPSEE Online Form

    After gathering the aforementioned documents, candidates can follow following steps to successfully complete UPSEE Online Application Form filling process.

    Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSEE 2016 and visit the Application Form Page

    Step 2: Fill all your personal and academic details in necessary sections as per your eligibility and review the entire form by clicking ‘Next’ button. In case of any mistakes, click on ‘Back’ button and correct them.

    Step 3: After confirming all correct entries, click on ‘Final Submit’ button. Candidates will not be able to change or modify any entries after submitting the form, therefore ensure all your entries are correct, before submitting the application form.

    Step 4: After clicking on ‘Final Submit’ button, you will be given a computer generated ‘Registration Number’. Note this down for any future references.

    Payment of Examination Fees

    Candidates can pay the UPSEE Exam Fees through Credit/Debit Card or through offline Bank Challan.

    • To pay UPSEE 2016 fees through Credit/Debit Card: Click on payment link and fill in all the necessary details to pay the fees. After payment of fees, a transaction number will be created, note it down for future references.
    • To pay UPSEE fees through Bank Challan: Click on ‘Download e-challan’ link. Take the challan to respective bank on the next day and pay the fees there. The bank will provide you a transaction number; note it down for future reference.

    Uploading of Documents

    If UPSEE fee is paid through credit/debit card mode, candidates can upload necessary documents for their application, on the same day. In case of payment of fees through e-challan, candidates can upload the necessary documents one day after payment of UPSEE fees at the bank.

    • Step 1: Click on uploading of Scanned Images link
    • Step 2: Confirm your ‘Registration Number’ and upload scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression on the portal.
    • Step 3: Click on ‘Next’ and review all the uploaded images. In case of mistake, click on ‘Back’ button and make necessary changes.
    • Step 4: Once all details are verified by you, click on Submit.

    Printing of Confirmation Page

    After uploading all necessary documents on UPSEE portal, candidate will be redirected to a ‘Confirmation Page’.

    • Take two printout of this page, and keep one copy safe with you for future reference.
    • On the second copy of confirmation page, paste your recent passport size photograph as well as put signature, thumb impression and parent/guardian signature in designated space provided for each section.
    • Send the duly signed print out of the confirmation page and copy of fee challan (if fee is paid through Bank mode) and send it to UPSEE office address as mentioned in the notification. The form is to be sent only by Speed Post/Registered Post only.

    UPSEE Offline Application Form

    Candidates interested in filling UPSEE Offline Application forms are suppose to contact the nearest UPSEE Help Desk. The list of designated helpdesks located in different cities across UP will be given on the official website and information brochure.

    The UPSEE online application process consists of four main steps as given below:

    • Filling up of offline application form at designated Help Desk
    • Payment of Application Fee
    • Submission of Photograph, Signature and Thumb impression
    • Printing of Confirmation Page
    • Submission of Bank challan and Confirmation page

    Documents required for filling UPSEE Offline Application Form

    Candidates are required to be ready with following documents before visiting the helpdesk to fill UPSEE 2016 Offline Application Form

    • Personal Email ID
    • Personal Mobile Number
    • At least 3 Recent Passport size photograph (3.5cm x4.5cm) with either white or off white background; name of candidate must also printed on the photograph

    Steps to fill UPSEE Offline Application Form

    Candidates willing to will UPSEE Offline Application form can follow following steps to avoid any mistakes:

    • Step 1: Visit the nearest Help Desk centre, where UPSEE Application Form will be provided to the candidate free of cost
    • Step 2: Fill all necessary details in the form and paste your passport size photograph in designated space
    • Step 3: Submit the application form at the Help Desk.

    UPSEE Fee Payment for Offline Applications

    Candidates can pay the UPSEE Exam Fees through Credit/Debit Card or through offline Bank Challan.

    • To pay UPSEE 2016 fees through Credit/Debit Card: If you opt to pay UPSEE fee through credit/debit card, the Help Desk will provide you necessary internet facilities to complete the fee payment process. Post completion of fee payment through credit/debit card, a transaction number will be provided, note it down for future reference.
    • To pay UPSEE fees through Bank Challan: If you want to pay UPSEE fee through bank challan, SBI collect will issue a triplicate challan at Help Desk. Take this challan to SBI bank on next day and submit the necessary fees. The bank will provide you a transaction number; note it down for future reference.

    Submission of Photograph, Thumb Impression and Confirmation Page

    After payment of fees, Candidate must visit the same Help Desk centre to submit their Photograph, thumb impression and receive their confirmation.

    • Step 1: Visit the same Help Desk centre, where you will be issued three copies of ‘Confirmation Page’
    • Step 2: Keep one copy of Confirmation page with you for future reference
    • Step 3: Submit one copy of confirmation page with photograph, thumb impression and necessary signatures along with a copy of fee payment challan at the help desk centre
    • Step 4: Send the third confirmation copy with photograph, thumb impression and necessary signatures along with a copy of Fee payment challan to the university address, as given in the information brochure. The form is to be sent only by Speed Post/Registered Post only.
