VIT University: Admissions to MBA program 2013

VIT University (Vellore Institute of Technology University) was established in 1984 in Vellore, Tamil Nadu India. VIT University was conferred with the University status in 2001 by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. VIT University invites application for admission in their MBA programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant should be a Resident Indian National and should have graduated from colleges located in India. NRI and  foreign  nationals  may  contact  the Director  -  PG  Admissions  for  details  of admission.
• A minimum of 60% is required in the qualifying full-time Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or Institution.
• Candidates appearing for the final examination to be held in April / May and whose results will be available on or before the 15 August are also eligible for admission.
• CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT/ GMAT score is essential
• Executive work experience is an advantage but not essential

Candidates can get the application form with payment of Rs.900/-

Mode of payment

1. Online payment can be done through- Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card
2. The Demand draft of Rs.900/- should be drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favor of the VIT University, payable at “Vellore”.

Selection Process

• Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of performance in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT examination.
• Shortlisted candidates will then be required to appear in for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) for final selection.
