West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) invited application for registering for West Bengal Civil Services Examination 2015. The candidates eligible for the Examination can apply through prescribed format before 02 March 2015.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: A candidate must have the following qualifications which should be clearly stated in the application. The qualifications prescribed in the advertisement are as per the notified recruitment rules issued by Govt. Candidates must fulfill the essential qualifications by the closing date. (i) A degree of a recognized University. (ii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hill Subdivisions of Darjeeling District, viz., Darjeeling Sadar, Kalimpong and Kurseong).

Age limit: Between 21 to 32 years

Pay Scale

Group A: (PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Group B: (PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Group C: (PB-4) Rs.9,000/- to 40,500/- + G.P. Rs. 4,700/-

Group D:  (PB-3) Rs.7,100/- to 37,600/- + G.P. Rs. 3,900/-

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted for the post on the basis of written examination.

Candidates eligible and interested in the profile can apply online through www.pscwbonline.gov.in till 02 March 2015. Before applying for the post, candidates are required to register as per “ONE TIME REGISTRATION” scheme through the same Website. Those who have already made registration in any examination conducted by P.S.C., W.B. need not register once again.
