A: The candidates looking forward to take Common Written Exam (CWE) should have a Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The age of the aspirant should be between 20 years and 30 years as on 1 July 2011.
Candidates should note that merely applying for CWE/ appearing for the examination conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in all or any of the 19 Public Sector Banks as each Bank will stipulate its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria.
