Andhra Pradesh bagged Oil and Gas Conservation Award, 2013

Andhra Pradesh bagged the Oil and Gas Conservation Award for the best performance among the big States. The award is given by the Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.


The PCRA observes the Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight from January 16 to 31 every year. The award is given away for exceptional support and cooperation extended by the governments for various conservation activities organised by the state-level coordinator during OGCF-2013.

The award will be presented by petroleum and natural gas minister M Veerappa Moily during the inaugural function of OGCF 2014 to be held in Delhi on 16 January 2014.
