Apple's chief executive Steve Jobs unveiled new version of the iPad at a company event on 2 March 2011. The new version of the iPad is thinner, lighter and features video cameras. The new version, iPad 2 weighs 1.3 pounds, down from 1.5 pounds and will be available in black and white models. The new iPad 2 features front and rear-facing video cameras to enable video chat.
