Chinese President appointed Le Yucheng as China's New Ambassador to India

Chinese President Xi Jinping appointed Le Yucheng as China's new Ambassador to India.

Chinese President Xi Jinping on 16 September 2014 appointed Le Yucheng as China's new Ambassador to India. Le Yucheng replaced Wei Wei who previously served as China's envoy to India.


Le Yucheng
•    Le Yucheng was born in Jiangsu Province of China in June 1963.
•    He served as Counselor for the Permanent Mission of China to the UN from 1998-2001.
•    He served as China's Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2011-2013.
•    Prior to his appointment as Ambassador to India, he served as the China's ambassador to Kazakhstan.
