Sony Pictures Entertainment recently appointed veteran Indian American executive Ravi Ahuja as its next CEO. The group's current President and CEO, Tony Vinciquerra, will step down on January 2, 2025.

4. Cruise Bharat Mission

Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal launched the 'Cruise Bharat Mission' from Mumbai Port on October 1, 2024. The mission aims to enhance India's potential as a global hub for cruise tourism, with the aim of doubling cruises by the year 2029.

Exercise KAZIND is a joint military exercise held every year between India and Kazakhstan. The 8th edition of Exercise KAZIND is being conducted from 30 September to 13 October 2024 at Surya Foreign Training Node, Auli, Uttarakhand.
