World Green Economy Forum launched in Dubai. It is organised to bring together global leaders and experts to tackle serious environmental challenges. Its theme is "Empowering global action: unlocking opportunities and driving progress".   

2. (a) Divyanshi

India's Divyanshi performed brilliantly and won the gold medal in the ISSF Junior World Championship 25 meter pistol. Divyanshi won the gold medal by defeating Christina Magnani of Italy. He also won the team gold along with Tejaswini and Vibhuti Bhatia. In the men's category, Mukesh Nelavalli won two gold medals in 25 meter pistol and team event.

3. (c) Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the construction of four compressed bio-gas plants in Assam as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 programme. This project includes Guwahati, Jorhat, Sivasagar and Tinsukia. The state government, in collaboration with Oil India Limited, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, plans to set up a total of 25 CBG plants by 2024-25.

4. (a) Telangana

NITI Aayog in collaboration with WE Hub and Government of Telangana has launched its first state chapter of Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP). With over 30 thousand registered women entrepreneurs and associations, WEP comprises over 400 mentors from various industry sectors. Sita Palochola, CEO of WE Hub, has been appointed as the Mission Director of WEP Telangana Chapter.

5. (b) Jharkhand

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand.  The total outlay of this scheme with central and state cooperation is Rs 79,156 crore. The central government is giving a grant of Rs 56,333 crore and the state government is giving a grant of Rs 22,823 crore.
