Korean players won silver and gold medals. She also became the first Indian woman to win a medal in Olympic Games in shooting.

Recently Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has said that Rajasthan government will provide reservation for Agniveers in the recruitment of jail and forest guards and state police. Earlier, the Union Home Ministry had announced that 10 per cent of the vacancies for recruitment in the Central Armed Police Forces or paramilitary forces would be reserved for former Agniveers.

According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the total number of tigers currently living in the forests around the world is estimated to be around 3,900.

The National Green India Mission (GIM) is one of the eight missions under the National Action Plan on Climate Change.
