India's medal account has opened with gold at the Paris Paralympics 2024, in shooting, Avani Lekhara repeated history by winning the gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 event. While Mona Agarwal won the bronze medal with 228.7 points. Avni performed brilliantly this time and created a new Paralympic record with 249.7 points.

India and Malaysia have signed MoU to strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism. Malaysia is an important tourist market for India. In the year 2022, more than 2.5 lakh Malaysian tourists came to India. It is expected that the MoU will further boost tourist arrivals from Malaysia.
