Facebook launched video creation tool Say Thanks

Facebook launched new tool called Say Thanks. This will enable users to put together a video filled with photos and other posts between them and a friend.

Social networking website Facebook on 13 November 2014 launched personalised video creation tool, Say Thanks.

Through this tool, users of the site can put their personalised video cards combining present themes and their own posts and photos.

The tool allows users to make shareable, customized videos to post on their friend’s timelines. There is no limit to how many personalized videos a user can create and share.


To create the video, a user will have to visit facebook.com/thanks and select a friend for Facebook to generate a preview of the video. But the user should have ability to select a different theme and edit photos and posts that represent their friendship.

The video tool also have an option of adding personalised message before posting it to the timeline and tagging a friend, after users finish making the video.

Recently the service is available on desktop and mobile in English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish.
