On 13 June 2011, Slovenian Prime Minister, Borut Pahor came to India for a four day visit. It was the first ever Slovenian top official’s visit to India. Pahor began his visit in Mumbai. PM Pahor with his cabinet colleagues and industry leaders were accorded a ceremonial welcome in the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on 14 June 2011. Ways to strengthen relations in the areas of trade and economy, health and higher education were discussed by Pahor and Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh.
