Foreign Policy Magazine of America on 17 November 2014 released a list of 100 Global Thinkers. The list includes top ten decision makers, agitators, naturals, heelers’ innovators and Moguls among others.
Out of top ten decision makers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been ranked first followed by Angela Merkel of Germany and Amit Shah of India.

The magazine has described 64-year-old Modi as charismatic and business-friendly leader. It has also referred to the US visa ban on Modi following 2002 Gujarat riots when he was the Chief Minister of the state.
