The Himachal Pradesh state government introduced a single-window system to grant permission to film and TV serial makers to shoot in the region. To make the process easy for the filmmakers, single window clearance for shooting in various locales would be granted.
Prior to this, the filmmakers had to seek permission from several departments making it a lengthy procedure. Now the producers have to just submit a request, mentioning the place and date of shooting.
