Rohan Chakravarty, Indian wildlife and environment cartoonist, in May 2017 won 2017 WWF International President’s Award.
Chakravarty has been honoured for his efforts to inspire change and attitudes towards nature.

It is also the first Indian comic strip to be distributed internationally.
The wildlife and environment cartoonist was announced as one of the two winners of the award, alongside Indonesian environmental youth champion, Adeline Tiffanie Suwana.
