Kavveri Telecom acquired US Firm WPCS International

Kavveri Telecom acquired US Firm WPCS International on 26 July 2012. Kavveri Telecom and WPCS International is a Bangalore based firm and US Based firm respectively.  WPCS International is into the business of wireless Communications Division. They make solutions used by the police officers, firemen and other emergency Services.

WPCS International has their operations in Lakewood, New Jersey and Hartford in Connecticut. This acquisition will provide Kavveri with a range of wireless systems solutions in addition to its existing products portfolio.

Kavveri Telecom makes Cellphone Tower antennas, Radio Frequency (RF) components, repeaters and other telecom products. WPCS International is the parent company of the wireless communications division, provides infrastructure for companies in the energy and utility sector, healthcare, educational institutions and public services organizations worldwide.

According to the Analysts, Kavveri’s telecom products can enter in the US market with this acquisition. Kavveri Telecom wants to become global in wireless infrastructure solutions. Since, 2006 the company had acquired five American companies.
