    The entire vicinity (area) of Bihar is 94,163 sq. km as per Census 2011. The density of the state is 1,106 per sq km. It is comparatively higher than national average, which is 382 per sq km.

     

    In the year 2001, the density of the Bihar state was 881 per sq km. However, the nation average in 2001 was 324 kilometer square.
