The Delhi Assembly Election Results 2025 have been declared, marking a historic shift in the capital’s political landscape. After nearly three decades, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured a decisive victory, ending the 10-year reign of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). With the vote counting complete, the BJP has crossed the majority mark of 36 seats, paving the way for its government formation in the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT-Delhi).

The elections witnessed a voter turnout of 60.54%, with a fierce contest between BJP, AAP, and Congress. While AAP, which had dominated Delhi politics since 2015, put up a strong fight, it could not withstand the BJP’s surge. Meanwhile, Congress, which struggled in the last two elections, failed to make a significant impact once again.

This landmark victory marks BJP’s return to power in Delhi after 27 years, signalling a major political realignment in the capital. Here is a constituency-wise breakdown of winners and losers of Delhi Elections 2025.

Key Battles Across 70 Constituencies

The Delhi Assembly elections have seen some of the most intense electoral battles in key constituencies such as New Delhi, Chandni Chowk, Patparganj, Greater Kailash, Okhla, and Rohini. AAP's Arvind Kejriwal, BJP’s Manoj Tiwari, and Congress’ Arvinder Singh Lovely are among the prominent candidates whose political fate hangs in the balance.

Each constituency plays a crucial role in determining which party will form the next government. The constituency-wise breakdown of winning and losing candidates will provide insight into voter preferences and shifts in political allegiances across different parts of Delhi.

AAP national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal faced defeat in the New Delhi assembly constituency against BJP's Parvesh Verma. As per the Election Commission's data after 14 rounds of counting, Verma secured victory over Kejriwal with a margin of 4,089 votes.
