The Raisina Dialogue is India's premier conference on geopolitics and geoeconomics. The 2025 edition is scheduled from March 17 to 19 in New Delhi. 

The event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon as the chief guest delivering the keynote address. 

This year's theme, "Kalachakra—People, Peace, and Planet," will guide discussions across six thematic pillars, including shifting political dynamics, environmental challenges, digital governance, trade complexities, development strategies, and peace initiatives. 

The conference will host over 3,500 participants from approximately 125 countries, featuring foreign ministers, former heads of state, military commanders, industry leaders, technology innovators, academics, journalists, and strategic affairs experts. 

The Raisina Dialogue is organised by the Observer Research Foundation in collaboration with India's Ministry of External Affairs. 

The event serves as a platform for global leaders to engage in cross-sectoral discussions, addressing the most pressing issues facing the international community.

The Raisina Dialogue is India's premier conference on geopolitics and geoeconomics, held annually in New Delhi. It is organised by the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. 

The conference serves as a platform for global leaders to discuss pressing international issues and explore opportunities for cooperation.

  • Objective: The Raisina Dialogue aims to address the most challenging issues facing the global community by fostering discussions among leaders from politics, business, media, and civil society.
  • Structure: It is structured as a multi-stakeholder, cross-sectoral discussion involving heads of state, cabinet ministers, local government officials, and thought leaders from various sectors.
  • Participation: The event attracts participants from over 100 countries, including ministers, former heads of state, military commanders, industry leaders, academics, journalists, and experts from leading think tanks.
  • Themes and Pillars: Each edition of the Raisina Dialogue focuses on a specific theme, which is further divided into thematic pillars that guide discussions on key global issues.

  • 2024 Edition: The theme was "Chaturanga: Conflict, Contest, Cooperate, Create," with discussions centred around six thematic pillars such as Tech Frontiers and Decolonising Multilateralism.
  • 2025 Edition: The theme is "Kālachakra—People, Peace and Planet," with six thematic pillars, including Politics Interrupted and Digital Planet.
