Manish Narwal is a professional Indian para pistol shooter. According to the World Shooting Para Sport Rankings, he is fourth in the world for Men's 10m Air Pistol SH1. This professional shooter secured first place in the P4 Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 event at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Who is Manish Narwal?
Born on October 17, 2001, in Ballabgarh, Haryana, Manish Narwal is a promising Indian para-shooter who competes in the P4 (mixed 50-meter pistol SH1) category. He was born with a deformity in his right hand, which perturbed him in his childhood, but he did not let it deter him from pursuing his passion for shooting.
Although he wanted to play football from the start, his health concerns prevented him from pursuing it as a career. Therefore, he chose shooting sports as his main focus.
His shooting career began in Ballabhgarh in 2016. He made a world record (218.2 m) while winning gold in the P4 mixed 50 m pistol SH1 event at the 2021 Para Shooting World Cup in Faridabad, Haryana.
Being trained under Rakesh Thakur's expert guidance, Narwal has won a bronze medal in the 2019 World Championship in Sydney, Australia.
Additionally, he has also won three bronze medals, consecutively two individual and one team, in 2018 at the Cheongju 2018 World Shooting Para Sport Championships in Cheongju, South Korea.
In the recent 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, Manish Narwal made history by winning a gold medal in the P4 mixed 50m pistol SH1 event, showcasing his incredible talent and determination on the world stage.
He took home multiple medals from both national and international competitions, including gold, silver, and bronze. He has achieved great success at a young age, winning multiple medals at international competitions.

Manish Narwal qualified for the 2024 Paralympics men's 10-meter air pistol SH1 event, securing 565 points.
And in today's match, he secured the second position with a total of 234.9 points, showcasing his consistent performance and determination to excel in the sport. The first place was secured by Jeongdu Jo of South Korea, who scored 237.4 points, narrowly beating out Manish Narwal for the gold medal.
With a score of 214.3 points, Yang Chao of China took third place, demonstrating the intense competitiveness among the best competitors in the event.
