The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has officially released the admission notice where it has stated that the basic registration as a part of PAAR for AIIMS PG 2019 January session will start on August 31, 2018. The last day for the registration of all the MD/ MS/ MDS courses closes on September 20, 2018. The officials will upload AIIMS PG 2018 prospectus including tentative seat position online on October 04, 2018. The candidates who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria for AIIMS PG 2018 can only apply. If the candidate is found not eligible then the application will get rejected. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria set by AIIMS before filling the forms.
For the convenience of the students, we have elaborated the eligibility criteria. The aspirant should hold MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS courses from a University that is recognized by the Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India. The candidates must also complete 12 months compulsory rotational internship/ Practical training on or before January 30, 2019.
The candidates must also obtain a minimum of the following marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/MDS examination. The minimum marks in aggregate required for SC/ST categories students are 50%. And for all other categories including OBC category minimum required mark is 55%.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences conducts AIIMS PG entrance examination. AIIMS PG is conducted twice in a year for admission in January session and July sessions. The entrance test is conducted to offer the admission in PG (MD / MS / DM (6yr) / MCh (6 yrs) / MDS) courses offered in AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS(Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur & Rishikesh). The candidate who qualifies the AIIMS PG examination is eligible for the admission in AIIMS colleges.
